DVD drives to boycott!!
It's time to launch a big
boycott to all RPC-2 drives (the drives who are region
locked in firmware).
What you have to do :
-First, don't buy any of these drives.
-Return them to your resellers if you got one of them.
-Send tons of email to the companies who manufacture these drives.
I think the only way to make them changing position, is an economical pressure
until they release a region free firmware (RPC1), like they do before.
After all RPC2 drive have no reason to exist since MPEG2/DVD software are already
region protected.
These drives are region
protected in firmware without solution actually to make them
region free.
If you already have one of these drives, try to return it to your
resellers and buy a region free one.
If you can't, send tons of e-mail to manufacturers to provide a
region free firmware.
