Special note for firmware 1.6k : the Raite RDR-108H
firmware version 1.6k is a speed-reduced firmware that was designed for the
use of that drive in a stand-alone DVD player such as the Raite/Yamakawa 780/788.
It is not for the use of the drive in a PC. The firmware does not support the
higher DVD or CD speeds to reduce noise, and with this firmware, the drive will
NOT work as slave. It is always set to master, ignoring the jumper setting,
and will cause a conflict if it is installed as slave.
